How do we help someone who may be considering suicide?
When we suspect that someone we know may try to take their life, the fear can be paralyzing. We don't always know what to do or what to say. We're often afraid of "planting the idea in their head" if we ask the question. We don't always know what help is available.
The Know The Signs campaign shares a very important message: you can help save a life! By being able to recognize the signs and knowing how to talk to someone about suicide, you can confidently guide someone in crisis to the resources they need to get better. Visit suicideispreventable.org.
