*There is an update in the vaccine eligible population as a result of including the newly eligible 5-11 year old age group. The eligible population size has been updated from 151,633 persons to 166,367 persons.

This report includes a weekly update to Shasta County’s total case numbers. Investigations are conducted to verify that cases meet state reporting requirements. Duplicate, out-of-county, and probable cases are removed. Probable cases include people who tested positive on an antigen test and those with reported symptoms but no confirmed lab test.

County offices will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Our next COVID-19 Daily Update will be on Monday, Nov. 29. We wish you a safe and enjoyable holiday.

The LHI vaccination clinic in the Redding Senior Center at 2290 Benton Drive will permanently close its doors after this weekend. The clinic will be open this Friday 11/26, Saturday 11/27, and Sunday 11/28. For more vaccination locations, visit the “Vaccinations” page at ShastaReady.org.
