Current Situation:
- Question: When can I get a Moderna booster? Answer: The Moderna booster is currently undergoing a rigorous scientific process to ensure it is safe. The FDA has not given an estimated timeline for approval. When it is approved, Shasta HHSA will release information to the media and update ShastaReady.org with instructions on how to get a Moderna booster.
- Sports, art, and music help children grow and thrive. Shasta County residents age 18 and older who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic may be eligible for financial assistance with after-school childcare or extracurricular activities. Visit the Shasta County Housing and Community Action Agency webpage, email hcap@co.shasta.ca.us or call (530) 225-5160 for an application.
