Current Situation:
- We are sorry to report that 5 deaths were confirmed this week. They were a woman in her 60s, a woman in her 70s and three men in their 80s. Please note, this week is when these deaths were confirmed and may be days or weeks after the people died.
- The California Department of Public Health has released a new At Home COVID-19 Testing fact sheet with answers to the questions:
- When should I test for COVID-19?
- Where can I get an at home test?
- What if my test is positive?
- What if I cannot work because of COVID-19?
- There are now medicines available to treat people with mild-to-moderate COVID-19 who are at risk for developing severe COVID-19. Talk to your doctor if you feel that you may be at higher risk. The medicines must be prescribed by a healthcare provider. Some can be taken by mouth and can be given outside the hospital. Others are given by injection or IV.
