What is SIDS?
SIDS stands for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. SIDS is the sudden death of an infant under 1 year of age where no cause of death can be found, even after a complete review of the case. Since the "Back to Sleep" campaign started in 1994, the number of babies dying of SIDS has decreased by more than 50 percent.
