Why Shasta County is staying in the red tier even as covid-19 cases rise again 04/27/2021

Shasta County COVID-19 cases are climbing again, even amid access to vaccines against the virus and contagious variants.

Health officials reported more than 300 new cases over the past two weeks, and the average new cases per day climbed to 10.2 cases per day per 100,000 residents from 6.8 new cases on April 20.
