Weekly update shows Covid-19 case rate remains in the moderate range 04/29/2022

Public health has reported the COVID-19 death of a Shasta County woman in her 70s. The transmission case rate has edged up slightly and is still in the moderate range at 23 per 100,000. 42 cases have been reported in the past week, and there are 40 known cases in the county. 2 of them are hospitalized, and one is in the ICU.
