Wednesday: 8 new cases in Shasta County 08-12-2020

Shasta County added 8 new cases on Wednesday for a total of 476, likely catching up from the backlog following a problem with the state database. 6 of the new patients have symptoms, ranging from a woman in her 20’s to a woman in her 60s. There are 40 active cases. 2 people are hospitalized, both in intensive care.
