Published August 28, 2020

A student at Anderson High School and another one from North Valley Continuation High School have tested positive for the coronavirus.

The two cases bring the known positive COVID-19 tests at Shasta County high schools to three.

Anderson High students and teachers started the school year on campus, but because of the positive test, Principal Brian Parker said Wednesday morning the high school will switch to distance learning through Sept. 2 and return to campus Sept. 3.
