Shasta, Tehama counties have highest new covid-19 case rate in California 10/13/2020

For the second week in a row, state data shows Shasta County has the highest rate of new COVID-19 cases of any county in California.

The county has a rate of 19 new cases a day per 100,000 residents, according to the state's Blueprint for a Safer Economy dashboard. The data used to make the rate is from the week ending Oct. 3, according to the dashboard's webpage. The state updates the data dashboard every Tuesday.
