Shasta County will enter purple tier, additional death reported 11/04/2020

Shasta County will enter the most restrictive purple tier on Friday as cases continue to rise substantially. 23 new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Wednesday for a total of 2,288. A man in his 80’s died from the virus bringing the total number of deaths to 33. Public health announced Wednesday that the state will move Shasta County into the purple tier on Friday forcing additional restrictions on businesses and houses of worship.
