Published July 2, 2020

Shasta County hospitalizations have more than tripled in the past few days. Shasta County Public Health says this means more people are getting sick from coronavirus.

“We are definitely concerned that diseases continue to spread in our community,” said Kerri Schuette, spokesperson for the Shasta Health and Human Services Agency.

“The disease has not gone anywhere,” Schuette adds.
