Shasta County sees 8 new covid-19 deaths, 2 in Butte County 09/14/2021

Eight new deaths from the coronavirus were reported in Shasta County on Wednesday.

Shasta County Health and Human Services said a man in his 50s, two women in their 60s, a man in his 70s, a woman in her 80s and a man in his 80s died from the virus.

This is the second-highest number of deaths reported in Shasta County in one day.

There are now a total of 274 COVID-19 deaths in Shasta County.
