Shasta County’s vaccination rate lags behind most of California 04/21/2021

Published April 23, 2021

Shasta County lags behind all but three other California counties in its COVID-19 vaccination rate, according to public health officials.

A drop in the number of people showing up for vaccines coupled with concerns over rising case numbers is prompting health workers to go out into the community to speak with vaccine-hesitant people to try to address their questions.
