Shasta County reports nearly 100 new covid-19 cases 10/13/2020

Shasta County set a new single day record for cases of COVID-19 with nearly 100 cases reported on Tuesday. Shasta County reported 95 new cases Tuesday along with another death. 25 people have died from Coronavirus among the county’s 1597 cases. The latest person to die from the virus was a man in his 70’s. The new cases range in age from 2 children under 13 to 2 people in their 80s. There are currently 180 active cases with 4 of them hospitalized. 380 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
