Shasta County reports five coronavirus-related deaths 12/31/2020

Health officials reported five additional coronavirus-related deaths in Shasta County on New Year's Eve.

The five people who died of complications from the virus were a woman in her 30s, a man in his 50s, two men in their 70s and a woman in her 80s.

Since the pandemic began, the county has reported 78 virus-related deaths and 8,060 cases.
