Shasta County reports 4 coronavirus-related deaths, nearly 60 new cases 05/05/2021

Shasta County reported four additional coronavirus-related deaths and nearly 60 new cases on Tuesday.

The four people who died from complications due to the virus were a woman in her 70s and three women over the age of 89.

The county's COVID-19 death toll now stands at 224, according to the Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency.
