Shasta County received covid-19 relief funds 08-07-2020

In the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 State of California budget, Shasta County has been allocated $18,153,000 in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) funds to offset expenses incurred related to the public health emergency caused by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). These funds cover expenses not budgeted by the County for March 1, 2020 through December 30, 2020.
