Shasta County placed in the red tier 10/06/2020

As new cases stack up, Shasta County is now in the red tier or substantial category under Governor Gavin Newsom’s reopening plan. The placement means more for restrictions for businesses.

Cindy Lampkin, the manager of Tortilla Flats, the coronavirus pandemic has been a whirlwind.

“It's been crazy up and down,” said Lamkin. “Changing schedules, ordering not enough food or too much food, hiring, and un-hiring. It's just been crazy.”
