Shasta County moving into purple tier by Friday 11/04/2020

Published November 6, 2020

Shasta County health officials have announced the county will be moving into the Purple Tier for COVID-19 restrictions by Friday. The announcement means institutes of higher learning like Simpson University and Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) will have to suspend in-person instruction. BSSM had just resumed some in-person instruction on Monday after an outbreak among students forced them to move classes online.
