Shasta County moves into states most restrictive tier 10/20/2020

Shasta County has officially moved into the widespread, purple tier of the State’s COVID-19 Blueprint for a Safer Economy. This is the most restrictive tier in the state’s system.

Health officials said over the weekend, Shasta County submitted a request to the state for adjudication of the county's anticipated move into the purple (widespread) tier. The county said it explained the recent Covid-19 outbreaks and the steps taken to address them.
