Shasta County moves further into phase two despite rodeo jeopardizing county 05-12-2020

Jeff Davis, the organizer of the Cottonwood Rodeo, is facing backlash from the Shasta County Public Health.

The Cottonwood Rodeo drew in hundreds of people on Mother’s Day. The department says it is taking steps to investigate the Cottonwood Rodeo.

“The state is recommending not to have large gatherings and to put on a large event seems irresponsible,” said Kari Hess, co-owner of NorCal Vape in Redding.
