Shasta County health officials react to protests for reopening 05-20-2020

Published May 21, 2020

Shasta County and Redding Hospital officials called Tuesday's protests outside the Board of Supervisors meeting a case of misplaced passions.

Those demonstrators were demanding that the county reopen immediately. When they were not allowed to speak inside by rules previously set by the board, they gathered outside the chambers with a megaphone to protest.
