Shasta County health officials confirm three new deaths due to covid-19 02/01/2021

A man in his 70s and two men over the age of 89 have died due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), according to Shasta County health officials.

On Friday and Saturday, January 29 and 30, Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) confirmed 105 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the estimated active cases to 274. The three newly confirmed deaths bring the total number of deaths in the county, due to the virus, to 145.
