Shasta County health officials confirm 14 new COVID deaths over the weekend 03/14/2022

SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. — Fourteen more Shasta County residents have died due to coronavirus, county health officials reported on Monday.

From Mar. 11-13, Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) confirmed a man in his 60s, a woman in her 60s, a man in his 70s, 2 women in their 70s, 2 men in their 80s, 2 women in their 80s and 5 women over age 89 have died due to COVID-19. HHSA says the deaths confirmed on Monday may be days or weeks after the residents actually died.
