Shasta County has the highest covid case rate in California 09/14/2021

Shasta County now has the highest COVID-19 case rate of the 58 counties in California.

The county's current case rate is 714.68 per 100,000 people. That's significantly higher than the statewide average of 100 and the nationwide average of 288, according to the Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency.
