Shasta County covid-19: new death, 73 new cases on Wednesday 12/17/2020

Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) confirmed a new death and 73 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on Wednesday. The county has confirmed a total of 7,122 cases so far.

HHSA estimated there are 528 active cases in the county, with 456 residents in isolation and 72 residents in the hospital. Thirteen residents are currently receiving treatment in the ICU.
