Shasta County covid-19 alert-level coming this week 06-10-2020

Published June 11, 2020

Shasta County is about to roll out a COVID Alert-Level to give the public a snapshot of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the county.

It's a green, yellow, orange, and red scale. Green is good.

During Wednesday's weekly news conference, Health Officer Dr. Karen Ramstrom said it is based on three broad categories: disease transmission, healthcare systems, and the ability to do containment.
