Shasta County confirms 8 new cases, 1 more coronavirus death 07-23-2020

Shasta County health officials say a man in his 80s has now died due to coronavirus. He is the eighth person to die from the virus in the county.

Health officials also confirmed eight new cases. They are a teenage girl, a teenage boy, two women in their 20s, two women in their 30s, a man in his 50s and a woman in her 50s.

Four people have been hospitalized with two in the ICU.
