Shasta County confirms 15 new covid-19 cases; new single-day high 07-24-2020

Shasta County health officials confirmed 15 new cases of coronavirus Friday. That's the largest single-day total outside a family gathering in June where one person tested positive and 20 were told to isolate.

There have been 291 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Shasta County and there are 41 active cases. Five people are hospitalized and eight have died.
