Reasons why we’re seeing an uptick of covid-19 cases in Shasta County 07-01-2020

The major source of COVID-19 cases in Shasta County might surprise you.

During Wednesday's weekly news conference, Health & Human Services Agency Director Donnell Ewert said it's not so much being out shopping or eating in a restaurant. The two main reasons are travel, either locals traveling to hot spots, or visitors from other areas or group gatherings.
