Public health oks Redding Dragstrip races with guidelines 06-24-2020

Published June 26, 2020

Shasta County Health and Human Services has allowed races to take place at the Redding Dragstrip, as long as guidelines are followed.

"We weren't aware and so we were talking late yesterday afternoon about options and so we'll be following up on that to make sure that they know what is allowed and we actually have had some interaction with them previously in terms of prevention measures planning to open and so our understanding was that they were not so we'll be following up on that," Shasta County Health Officer Dr. Karen Ramstrom said on Wednesday.
