North State covid-19 updates: 25 new cases in Butte Co., 8 in Shasta Co. 08-12-2020

The California Department of Health reported 1,352 newly confirmed cases and 141 hospitalizations across the state on Wednesday.


   586,056 confirmed cases

    10,648 deaths

    5,442 hospitalizations


    Butte County Breakdown:


   25 confirmed new cases

                0 new deaths


Butte County Public Health says it will not be updating its recovery numbers or hospitalization numbers until the backlog data is completely processed. Read below for full    details.


  Shasta County Breakdown:


       8 confirmed new cases

These include: A woman in her 20s, a man in his 30s, a woman in her 40s, a woman and two men in their 50s, two women in their 60s.
