New case of the coronavirus reported in northern California 03-23-2020

A 40-year-old man has tested positive for COVID-19 in Shasta County, according to the Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency. The patient is in isolation at his home. The man has had close contact with a woman in her 70s who tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, March 22, according to officials. This is the third reported case of COVID -19 in Shasta County.
