Monday, May 4 coronavirus updates: Shasta County schools plan to finish academic year 05-04-2020

Monday marked the sixth straight day with no new confirmed coronavirus cases in Shasta County, while the number of new cases statewide increased by 2.5%.

Five county residents are currently in isolation and 10 are in quarantine, Shasta County health officials said Monday. One is hospitalized. The last confirmed case in the county was announced April 28.
