Limited covid-19 test available in Shasta County

Published March 27, 2020

As the community waits nervously to see how wide COVID-19 will spread, many are growing impatient with the inability to get tested. President Trump has repeatedly said that everyone who wants to get tested can get tested, but that’s simply not true. Shasta County Health Officer Dr. Karen Ramstrom said Thursday morning that none are more frustrated than those in the medical community as they wait day after day for more available testing materials and improved testing technology.
