Shasta County Board of Supervisors hashed out a plan to tackle the local impacts of the homeless crisis.

Shasta County could be getting a grant that could improve the lives of the homeless community. Well, maybe just one step closer.

The board of supervisors voted in a four on one vote, allowing Health and Human Services to apply for a grant from the State Department of Housing and Community Development for a 400-thousand-dollar grant.
