Glenn and Shasta Counties report new covid-19 cases 04-23-2020

Shasta County Health Officials have confirmed the county's 28 positive case.

Officials say this patient is a man in his 50s who is in isolation at home.

Glenn County Public Health also confirmed a new case, bringing their total to five cases. Health officials said the patient is between the age of 18 to 49 and lives in the south part of the county.

The case was asymptomatic and exposed to the virus outside the county; they are currently in self-isolation, according to public health officials.
