Girl under 13 among new Shasta County patients 08-19-2020

Shasta County added 4 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday for a total of 515. The new patients include a girl under the age of 13, a man and a woman in their 20’s, and a man in his 40’s. All 3 have symptoms. There are 32 active cases. 5 patients are hospitalized, four of them in intensive care. 11 Shasta County residents have died of the virus. 187 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
