Getting vaccinated against flu more important than ever 09/25/2020

Published September 30, 2020

To prevent a “twindemic” of COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, the public is urged to get vaccinated against influenza (the “flu”). Getting vaccinated is the best defense against the flu. “Flu will be hitting soon, and even in normal years can put a strain on our clinics and hospitals. Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, getting your flu vaccine will be more important than ever,” said Shasta County Health Officer, Dr. Karen Ramstrom.
