Covid vaccine, Delta strain: Answers to your questions about the coronavirus surge 08/26/2021

COVID cases are soaring quickly and deaths have increased in Shasta County again, this time driven by the spread of the Delta variant and low vaccination rates.

The percentage of the county's population who is eligible for a vaccine and is fully inoculated against the coronavirus is under 43%.
