Covid updates: Shasta County has state’s highest case rate 10/20/2020

For the third week in a row, Shasta County has the highest new COVID-19 case rate in California, according to the state's reopening dashboard, which updates every Tuesday. The county's rate of 22.9 new cases a day per 100,000 residents is three times the state average of 7 a day per 100,000.
