Covid-19 updates: Vaccine clinic planned as Shasta County lags behind state vaccination rate 05/12/2021

County public health workers announced they will host a mass vaccination clinic on Saturday in Happy Valley.

That announcement coincided with a public health report the county is lagging behind California's overall vaccination rate.

As of Wednesday morning, health workers administered more than 100,200 doses of coronavirus vaccines to Shasta County residents, public health branch director Robin Schurig said.
