Covid-19 in Shasta County: Spots open at Friday vaccine clinic, no virus ICU patients for 3rd day 03/25/2021

Published March 26, 2021

Twelve more Shasta County residents were confirmed to have COVID-19 as of Thursday, according to public health.

Those cases increased the county's total case number to 11,319 since the pandemic began.

There was good news this week, too. Thursday marked the third day in a row no COVID-19 patients were in intensive care units at Shasta County hospitals. Prior to Tuesday, ICUs had at least one patient every day for more than five months straight — since Oct. 17, 2020.
