Covid-19 in Shasta County: No new deaths reported; vaccine clinic planned Saturday 02/23/2021

County public health officials announced they received no reports of new COVID-19 deaths among Shasta County residents over the weekend or on Monday.

Also on Tuesday, public health reported the average daily number of new cases in Shasta County had dropped to 10 per 100,000 people over the past week. That number is down from the previous week, when the county averaged 14.8 cases per 100,000 people per day.
