Covid-19 in Shasta County: Four residents die: Shasta to stay in red tier 05/05/2021

Four more Shasta County residents died of COVID-19, according to a public health report issued Tuesday.

They were a woman in her 70s and three women ages 90 and older.

Their deaths, the first reported in over a week, bring the county's total number of coronavirus fatalities to 224 since the pandemic began in March 2020.
