Covid-19 in Shasta County for week of April 4: Virus kills 5 residences in 3 days 04/12/2021

A man in his 50s was the fifth person reported dead of COVID-19 in Shasta County in three days — the 213th since the pandemic started in March 2020.

Public health officials also reported Friday that 13 more Shasta County residents tested positive for the virus: Five men and eight women.
