Covid-19 in Shasta County: Cases pass 12K mark. 05/06/2021

Shasta County's COVID-19 case count passed the 12,000 mark, according to health care workers.

Fifty five people tested positive for the virus on Wednesday, public health reported Thursday afternoon.

Those cases were enough to push the overall case total to 12,042. That total includes all coronavirus cases recorded in the county since the pandemic began in March 2020.
