Covid-19 in Shasta County: 16 more cases; virus kills two men 04/08/2021

Two more Shasta County men died as a result of COVID-19: One in his 50s and one in his 70s.

Their deaths, the third and fourth in two days, raised the death toll to 212, Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) reported Thursday.

HHSA also reported 16 county residents tested positive for the virus: Six men and 10 women.
