Covid-19 cases in Shasta County jump by 70 cases 09/25/2020

Shasta County health officials reported a total of 70 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend. The agency said that 47 new cases were confirmed on Friday while 23 were confirmed on Saturday.

That brings the total number of known cases in Shasta County to 847 since the start of the pandemic in March. There have been 17 deaths, county officials said.
